· Alxa Right Banner is an important World Capital for Camel Milk (WCCM).
· Establish an international research centre for camel research (IRCCR) at Alxa Right Banner.
· Support fundamental and applied research projects to bridge gaps in our knowledge.
· Develop common approaches and reliable measures: Address the phenotype-genotype gap by harmonizing phenotypic recording, animal identification, pedigree documentation and genomic data integration, e.g. by establishing an International Camel Recording and Improvement Network (ICRIN).
· Encourage and foster research into water use in camel farming and for the production of feeds for camels.
· Encourage and foster research into camel health and welfare
· Develop multidisciplinary approaches to provide sustainable solutions and solve emerging problems under climate change.
· Share knowledge via scientific exchanges and transfer knowledge to camel owners and industry via workshops
· Share data by supporting open access data storage and publishing
· Encourage stronger links between scientists, producers, industry, governments and the communities that depend on camels.
· Create opportunities for the next generation of camel scientists via mobility programs and travel grants.
